National Park Centennial
In celebration of the National Parks 100th anniversary, I created a series of drawings commemorating both the parks and my own experiences in these wonderful places. Each drawing is done from one of my own photographs.

Grand Canyon, AZ Ink, thread, on paper, 2015
Rocky Mountain Drifts, CO Graphite on paper, 2015
Quarai Ruins, NM Graphite on paper, 2015
"Nature Spirits"
These drawings are a result of processing loss. They are inspired by the numerous pets I have lost and are meant to symbolize not only the twisted and painful ache of grief, but also that beauty and hope can still be found within such sadness.
